About Her Calliope Heart

Her Calliope Heart was created with  intention of providing quality products that help each person express their unique inspirations, dreams and experiences through awakening and empowering their inner Muse. 

In 2013 my daughter Keaghan Calliope was born with an un-diagnosed Critical Congenital Heart Defect  (CCHD) requiring open heart bypass surgery at 9 days old. The profound impact it had not only on her heart, but mine and her familiy;s as well, inspired me to look deeper and find beauty and gratitude in the little things that made me and my heart happy and somehow- give back to help others.

Her Calliope Heart considers itself responsible to help continuously promote awareness and public consciousness about Critical Congenital Heart Defects. CHD is the most common birth defect worldwide, affecting nearly 1 in every 100 babies born. A child is two times more likely to die from congenital heart disease than from all forms of childhood cancers combined, yet CHD receives only one-fifth of the funding.

We strive to raise funds that assist in advocating for early detection, increasing awareness, and engaging in community outreach.

Her Calliope Heart donates 10% of all shop total sales to help families impacted by, and living with Congenital Heart Defects.
